TMG leads digital transformation training at Smart Africa workshop

Arlington, VA – For the Smart Africa Countries Stakeholders Forum and Agile Regulation for Digital Transformation Capacity Building workshop held September 12-14 in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, TMG led multiple trainings and interactive exercises. The workshops were attended by 45 participants from ministries and regulators across 23 African countries. The event was sponsored by Smart Africa, the World Bank Group, German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), and the Agile Regulation for Digital Transformation Program (AReg4DT).
TMG conducted trainings on agile regulation for digital transformation, regulatory governance and independence in light of digital transformation, and promoting competition in digital infrastructure and markets. These trainings included lively interactive exercises to enable participants to apply agile regulation principles to digital infrastructure policy challenges that ministries and regulators across the continent are addressing.
